What is True Love?
Here is a challenge I got from a "Love Dare" application for my I-Phone. Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 substituting your name for the words "love" and "it". By the way, despite being a popular passage for weddings, it is not intended simply for married couples. It applies to anybody desiring to exhibit love, whether it be toward a spouse, family member or fellow neighbor. Remember, according to Jesus, love is not an option. Pray the Lord would make true love a reality in you life.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
"4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant
5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
